Taylor Drake 1st got into writing at 13. He wrote his 1st poem and received plenty of positive affirmation for a well-earned boon in essay writing. He then explored the idea of being a journalist after understanding his growing gift and reading The Stranger and The Seattle Weekly; these publications came out with interesting and strange stories that occurred in the Western Washington area. The idea of finding unique tales in places that can be reached fascinated him.
After a growing pain-filled period of making mistakes and learning the basics of journalism under Everett Community College’s student paper, The Clipper, he received his AA degree. He is soon to receive a Bachelor’s in Communications from WSU.
Since the 2020 pandemic, Taylor regained his interest in poetry, creative writing, and journalism. He is striving to improve his art and is determined to get published and is currently enjoying meeting new peers.
